Testimony
Though I wasn't raised in a Christian family, I heard a lot about little Jesus from my Godmother, so when in High School one of my classmates invited me to a youth meeting, I didn't hesitate much. I was eager to have friends, I wanted to feel loved, and something to fill the emptiness inside of me. I was always a good student, and only „A”s were good enough for me. I set a high standard for myself. But all the „failures” - which meant worse than what I expected – made me upset, disappointed. I felt good for a little while, but then it faded and I was left alone, empty.
That's when I had an opportunity to sing in a Christian Choir. The goal of this choir was to evangelize in Hungarian villages, cities. One and a half months, 30 concerts and evangelistic meetings made me realize that I'm a sinner and I need salvation through Jesus Christ. I confessed that I'm not an exception either, I have sinned and am a sinner, and only through the blood of Jesus Christ can I be saved, through His holiness and victory over death.
From that time on my life has been filled with real satisfaction. My Heavenly Father transformed my thoughts, goals, plans at the WOL Bible School, which I attended. During my 2 years here I understood that serving God is not only a few hours of “fun”, but a serious, life-long commitment. I gave Him my life, time, energy, all that I had, and I want to be a good steward of the gifts He gave me.
Ministry
Since 2006 – when I became a WOL missionary - I have served in many different areas. Such as: Bible School Assistant, Assistant Dean of Women, Camp Assistant and Coordinator.
Besides my official work hours, I am part of various ministries. For example: Born Again to a Living Hope drama; Sing Team; discipleship of the students and interns; weekend clubs for campers/summer staff and also meetings related to summer camp. In September, 2010 – I hope and pray – I am going to join the South African WOL for 9 months.
